This investment reflects Cosun's ambition to make optimal use of its agricultural raw materials by extracting the components still trapped in them, from high value ones such as sugar to low value ones such as green gas.
 

The biomass fermenter is located at Suiker Unie's sugar factory in Dinteloord. It is not a one-off development. The Nieuw Prinsenland  agro & food cluster is being developed here to give the biobased economy a solid footing in the southwest of the Netherlands and to attract other businesses in and allied to the agro & food sector.
