On 11th May 2004, Royal Cosun and AstraZeneca Holdings B.V. agreed to transfer each of their 50% shareholdings in Advanta B.V. to Syngenta for the sum of 400 million euros, plus a settlement to be based on net asset value.
Following receipt of regulatory clearances, the transaction was completed on 1st September 2004.
