Jos van Campen new Board Chairman of Royal Cosun
On the recommendation of the Board of Koninklijke Coöperatie Cosun U.A., the Members’ Council has appointed Mr J.E.M. (Jos) van Campen chairman of the Board. The decision was taken during the Members’ Council meeting held in Nijkerk on 11 February. Mr van Campen’s appointment will take effect on 20 May 2003.
 

Jos van Campen (52) will succeed Mr H.E. (Harm Eiso) Clevering. After having chaired the cooperative’s Board for ten years, Mr Clevering has decided not to stand for reappointment.
Jos van Campen is a farmer in the Noordoostpolder. He has a proven track record as a manager both in civil society organisations and in business. He is also an active administrator in the world of equestrian sports and horse breeding. He began his career at Cosun as a district member and later chairman of the Noordoostpolder district and has been a member of the Board since 1992. Mr van Campen is also the chairman of the Royal Cosun pension fund and of the Members’ Affairs Committee.
 

The forthcoming chairman will use the time available to him until 20 May to prepare himself for his new position.
