Students get a taste of Cosun

5 April 2012
Cosun's research and development centre, CFTC, recently invited first year food technology students from the HAS University of Applied Sciences in Den Bosch to take a look behind the scenes. In mid-March it welcomed some 50 students to its laboratory in Roosendaal. Erik de Been, programme manager in the Product development department, explains why. “We let the students see what it's like in practice and they get to learn about Cosun”. Student Ewoud Loning was enthusiastic: "The visit was very interesting because I want to work in product development, particularly confectionery and beverages. The programme was an excellent match to what we are currently doing in chemistry. This is what it's like in real life. It was also interesting to take a look behind the scenes and see what really happens in business."
