Introducing Cosun Food Technology Centre

Some 60 highly trained professionals in Roosendaal are working on innovation with and for the Cosun businesses. Process technicians, chemical analysts, food technologists, microbiologists and other specialists are working to optimise production processes, make better use of raw materials and cut energy consumption in the factories.
They are developing new products and new applications using biobased raw materials, usually in cooperation with specialists at the Cosun business groups but also with developers at customers and knowledge institutions. One of the institutions is the Carbohydrate Competence Centre. Cosun is working with it to explore how better use can be made of carbohydrates. Cosun Food Technology Centre was one of the founders of the Carbohydrate Competence Centre. What it does and why it is important is explained in this short film.
