Roel van Haeren (37) studied marketing management at Tilburg University. Following his graduation Van Haeren has been employed in various commercial positions at Marel and Smits-Groep.
Roel van Haeren’s career at Duynie Group started in 2013, when he joined Novidon as manager Operations. The following year he was promoted within Novidon to the position of General Sales director. During that time Novidon developed into a full-fledge producer of potato starch and accompanying derivatives sourced from co-products. In January 2017 he joined Cosun Group staff as Corporate Development manager only to return that same year to Duynie Group, to fulfil the role of Chief Commercial Officer and member of the management team, contributing to the expansion of Duynie Feed in Europa. Van Haeren was jointly responsible for the start-up of Duynie Consultancy, the advisory branch within Duynie Group.
More recently he also became responsible for Duynie Ingredients, part of Duynie Group. The Duynie Ingredients production facility that recently became operational in Cuijk will be instrumental in enabling Duynie to address the worldwide growing demand for sustainable plant based ingredients.
Roel van Haeren will take the lead to further pursue the deployment of the growth strategy which was initiated a couple of years ago by Duynie Group.
A request for advice has been submitted to the Works Council of Duynie Group.
