Royal Cosun sells SVZ for more focus in portfolio

Breda, 20 july - Royal Cosun has reached agreement on the sale of SVZ to the Döhler Group.

The transaction is in line with Cosun’s strategic priorities and the previously announced partnership strategy for SVZ. Cosun has found a good partner for SVZ in the Döhler Group, who building on the excellent development of recent years, can give an impulse to the further development of the company and its employees.

With this transaction, Cosun brings more focus to its portfolio and is committed to further acceleration in the four growth areas as laid down in its Unlock 25 strategy. From a strong position in arable crops and co-products, Cosun focuses on profitable growth, a sustainable chain and future-proof returns.

For this transaction, Works Council advice and approval from the Dutch competition authority is requested. Closing is expected to take place on August 31, 2023.
