In his new role, Hans Meeuwis will succeed Albert Markusse, who announced last September that he will step down on 1 June 2021.

Hans Meeuwis (54) holds a master degree in chemistry of Radboud University Nijmegen. He has extensive experience and an excellent track record in driving innovation and growth in international food and food ingredient companies. Hans worked for DSM for more than 15 years. “We are delighted to welcome Hans Meeuwis within Cosun”, says Dirk de Lugt, Chairman of the Cosun Board. “Hans has an excellent track record within a listed company and within a cooperative like ours.  His vast experience will be instrumental in successfully pursuing our strategy, targeting further growth and innovation in plant based solutions in food, feed, bio based non-food products and green energy. With Hans Meeuwis we will be able to accelerate the implementation of our vision for the future. He is well positioned to lead Cosun into a new and successful chapter in its history”.
