During the meeting of 31 August, the Members' Council of Cosun elected Mr Arwin Bos, a farmer in Nieuw-Vennep, Haarlemmermeer, as the new chairman of the Board of Coöperatie Koninklijke Cosun U.A.
The statutory term of office of the current Chairman of the Board, Mr Dirk de Lugt, will expire in June 2023. Mr. Arwin Bos was nominated as successor by the Board, and elected by the Members’ Council.
The election was held during the Members’ Council of August 31, 2022 in order to give Mr Bos sufficient time to familiarise himself with the new position. The formal transfer will take place at the 2023 Annual Meeting. Mr Bos has been a member of Cosun’s Board since 2016 and has served as vice-chairman for several years.
