Royal Cosun has appointed Mr. Maarten van Delst as CEO of the business group Aviko, effective 1 January 2023. Aviko has been creating value from potatoes for 60 years. Since its incorporation in 1962, it expanded to become one of Europeans biggest producers in fresh, frozen and dried potato products.
Maarten van Delst (age 52) has a strong track record in the Cosun organization and fulfilled several roles within Cosun and the Business Groups. He is currently CFO of Aviko and since 1 July CEO Aviko ad interim. In this role he has worked closely together with the Aviko management team on strategy execution, performance improvement and further strengthening of the organization. Maarten will be a member of the Cosun Executive Board.
