Dutch Food Week is the national week where we put our food in the spotlight. In 2023, Cosun is once again lead partner of this national event. During Dutch Food Week, various parties in the food sector share their knowledge and passion with society. Farmers, entrepreneurs, suppliers, retailers, the government and scientists show how they are working on the production, distribution and development of our food.
The focus is on nutrition, food production and innovation, which fits seamlessly with our strategy of food production and continuous innovation. As a partner, we provide insight into our operations, from ground to mouth, and contribute to dialogues on more complex topics such as the carbon footprint of our food. We would like to share some information about the events we are participating in during the Dutch Food Week.
Tasting at the market in Arnhem
October 6, 2023 marks the opening of the Dutch Food Week on the market in Arnhem. Here we will serve various dishes from the Aviko food truck. Our colleagues will also be talking to farmers, citizens, and entrepreneurs.
National Food Quiz
The National Food Quiz is an initiative of the Top Sectors Agri & Food, Horticulture and Starting Materials and Health~Holland in cooperation with Dutch Food Week. The quiz consists of a wide range of questions about food. Cosun has put together a rock-solid team and will participate in the quiz on October 11, 2023 (19:30 – 21:00).
Plant the future dinner
This year the third edition of the Plant the Future Dinner, organized by the Transitie Coalitie Voedsel in collaboration with Nieuwspoort and The Farm Kitchen, will take place on October 12. This special evening will focus on ‘Plant-based as the New Normal’, where the aim is to eat not only plant-based, but also healthy! Cosun will again participate as a sponsor this year.
