Together with 12 other companies, Cosun is represented by the Association for Energy, Environment and Water (VEMW).
Together with wind farm developers Brookfield and SSE Renewables, VEMW is participating in the tender for the Hollandse Kust West wind energy park. The wind farm should be operational in 2025 and after the summer it will be announced whether the consortium will be awarded the tender. Winning the tender would mean that Cosun could purchase a substantial amount of wind energy every year.
As part of the Unlock 25 strategy, Cosun has the ambition to purchase only green electricity from 2025 and ultimately to produce completely CO2-neutral. Winning the tender would be a good step towards this ambition.
